General comments

  • Cefazoline toedienen 30 min voor de ingreep (min 15 tot max 60 min voor incisie of bloedleegte). Herhalen 1g elke 4 uur zolang de operatie duurt of bij veel bloedverlies.
  • Bij penicilline allergie: clindamycine 600mg iv, 30 min voor de ingreep (min 15 tot max 60 min voor incisie of bloedleegte). Herhalen 600mg elke 8 uur zolang de operatie duurt of bij veel bloedverlies.
  • Chirurgische profylaxe volstaat in het algemeen ook als endocarditisprofylaxe, indien deze is geïndiceerd, en hoeft derhalve niet worden aangepast.
