General comments
Bij bepaalde groepen, o.a. alle mensen die werken in de voedselbereiding en zorgmedewerkers na therapie controle faeceskweken, afgenomen ten minste 3 weken na de laatste koortsdag en ten minste 2 weken na het beëindigen van de antibiotische therapie. Zie verder LCI richtlijn.
NIET behandelen tenzij ernstige zieke patiënt, immuungecompromitteerde gastheer of intravasculair kunstmateriaal aanwezig in patiënt
Overleg voor behandeling met arts-microbioloog of internist-infectioloog
