General comments
Infectie is zelflimiterend in immuuncompetente patiënten, maar door mogelijk langdurig aanhouden van de klachten is behandeling geïndiceerd.
Immuungecompromitteerden: secundaire profylaxe met co-trimoxazol 1dd 480 mg zolang het CD4 getal <200x106/l is.
